The khutba in every language of the congregation and its visitors — a project coming to Al-Fateh.
MinbarLive listens to the khateeb and shows the khutba as text on the mosque's screens and on worshippers' phones as it is delivered — translated into more than sixty languages, so Al-Fateh's multinational congregation and its visitors from around the world follow the khutba word by word.
Its finest feature: when the khateeb recites the Quran, the system recognises the recitation and displays it in the authentic Uthmani script with the surah name and ayah number — and in translations it appears as the published translation, so the words of Allah are never mistaken for the words of the khateeb.
Preparations are underway to pilot the system at upcoming Friday khutbas, insha'Allah.
